Hi, I’m Ian,
Welcome to our Estate Agency Manxmove and I hope you like our new website and our new offices on Victoria road, Douglas IM2 4HD. I have 13 years agency experience working on the Isle of Man. Like Graham, I am a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and in 2010 qualified as a professionally registered estate agent, gaining the highest vocational qualification available to estate agents today.
We are also licensed members of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) & Propertymark so you are in safe hands – Think of it like Travel Agents ABTA but for estate agents.
My career prior to estate agency has always been in a sales environment and involved working throughout the UK and in Europe. I live in Douglas with my wife Tracy, who also works within the business, Jamie (24) who is qualified and works with us at Manxmove, Matthew (22) who has recently finished an Accountancy & Finance degree in Liverpool and daughter Emma, age 15 who is about to take her GCSE’s.

Hi. I’m Graham. I am the joint owner and Director of Manxmove Limited.
I am originally from a motor trade background and have been actively involved in retail sales for over 37 years. I spent 20 years working for one of the Islands largest local Estate Agencies where I progressed from Sales Negotiator to Head of Residential Sales, then on to Company Director before leaving to set up Manxmove in 2011.
I spent nearly 3 years studying hard for my NVQ level 5 Estate Agency qualification with the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). I found it difficult to juggle a busy family life with the pressures of work and studying and was therefore somewhat delighted (and relieved) to achieve this qualification in 2009.
I live in Cronk Drean Douglas and I am married to Helene, who is a born and bred Laxey girl. We have two lovely Manx born children, Carly who is 30 and a qualified lawyer and local advocate and Ross who is 23 and has recently obtained a business management degree at Chester University. We also have a gorgeous grandson of 23 months called Thomas who we are both really enjoying.
I am 55 years old and thankfully have boundless energy, which enables me to not only work hard but play hard. I have a passion for motorcycles and have restored numerous bikes in my spare time and regularly use the road bikes for off Island touring as well as using enduro bikes on local green lanes. I am also a keen snow skier, water-skier and enjoy offshore RIB cruising. I have also recently taken up sailing and I volunteer for the local Sailing For The Disabled charity which is an excellent local charity with its own specially adapted 48ft Beneteau Oceanis sailing yacht. I have also recently completed my Royal Yachting Association Day Skipper qualification and received my International Certificate of Competence.
Manxmove is a modern family run company with a small hardworking team of seven. We love our jobs and we are totally committed to our profession. Hi, I’m Jamie,
I’m 24 years old and completed my GCSE’s and A-Levels at St Ninians High School in Douglas. I decided that University wasn’t for me so jumped straight into employment and held previous customer facing positions which I believe have helped me with my current role.
I joined Manxmove at the start of 2014 and spent the first six months working closely with Graham at which time I was exposed to a whole variety of scenarios that an Estate Agent may come across. With over 20 years’ experience within the industry I don’t think I could have asked for a better mentor during my first few months.
I have become a qualified Estate Agent through my studies with the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) which I was able to complete on island over the past 12 months. Within this qualification I looked at areas from Law relating to residential sales right through to property valuations and defects.
I currently handle sales, lettings, negotiations, valuations and producing property details the Manxmove way. Since joining in 2014 I have built up a healthy portfolio of sales ranging from renovation projects to high value detached properties.
I am already looking forward to what the next few years will bring as you never cease learning in this job and two days are never alike.

Troy Parker BSc (Hons)
Hi, I’m Troy,
I joined Manxmove in February 2019 after previously working in the commercial department at a local estate agents and surveyors, where my main duties were commercial agency and property management. I have dealt with the leasing of offices, warehouses, shops and have also managed some of the largest commercial office premises on the Island. Prior to that I studied for a BSc in Real Estate at Sheffield Hallam University gaining a 2:1 -degree which is accredited by the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and before this I attended Ballakermeen High School.
As a local Manxy I’m absolutely delighted to have joined Manxmove. I have watched the company grow steadily over the years and, having discussed the position with Graham and Ian, everything felt right. I am looking forward to switching to Residential Estate Agency and learning how to do things the Manxmove way. Having already gained experience in one sector of the Isle of Man property market I felt it was time to move on, and there was no better place to learn than here at Manxmove.
Outside of work I like to participate in local sport. I play for Onchan Football Club and I also captain Finch Hill Cricket Club where I have also helped out with the coaching of the junior teams.
