With a staggering 1300 properties being offered for sale locally between £175,000 and £300,000 alone, there is an abundance of potential local movers out there and normally the only thing preventing their move is selling.
With a cooler buyer’s market and this amount of local stock, a property swap really does become a realistic option. Manxmove has already negotiated six swap transactions in the last fifteen months, which has resulted in twelve local vendors that were finding it difficult to sell being able to move on.
Whilst we are realistic and realise that a swap will never take over from the conventional sales transaction, it will definitely make the difference for a percentage of our clients between moving or not.

Today’s agent needs to have fresh, different ideas, be forward thinking, proactive and needs to think outside the box in order to manufacture sales, sometimes out of nothing.
